The ASA Pittsburgh Chapter was proud to sponsor the 2025 Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair (PRSEF) on April 2 nd and selected two winners based on the application of statistical and machine learning methods in their posters: Shivum Telang from North Allegheny High School and Claire Ding from Winchester Thurston. Chapter members Wei Chen, Soumik Purkayastha, and Gong Tang judged at this event on behalf of the Pittsburgh Chapter.
